A good holiday = authentic and delicious food. Do as the locals do, and receive fresh vegetables from local farms in Thy and Mors, directly to your door.
Holiday Box
The Summer Box consists of a wide selection of fresh and organic vegetables from Thy and Mors. You can, for example, receive fresh carrots, onions, peas, salts, tomatoes, cabbage, and much more.
Order before Sunday , then you can get your box delivered already Wednesday.
The box contains
The small box contains 9-10 of the season's different produce. The box is seasonal - the content will vary according to the season and its all organic or made wihtout pesticides on small farm. This is just a small part of what our farmers offer
1 x lettuce
1 x broccoli
1 x cucumber
500g peas
250g cabbage
250g tomatoes
1kg potatoes
1kg carrots
3 x onions with top
10 eggs
Order before Sunday, then you can get your box delivered already Wednesday.
The box costs 280 DKK excl. freight. Freight is 35 DKK, but you can choose to pick it up either in Klitmøller, Thisted or Vorupør and then freight is for free.
This is how the box works
Thykassen has the opportunity to offer you something special, this summer. We do not see you as just a tourist, but more as a temporary local. And we hope you will enjoy everything that our lovely area has to offer.
Usually, our food boxes are only delivered to the locals - but we have now decided
that it is time to offer them to everyone, like yourselves, who are visiting the area this summer.
All the vegetables in the box are harvested by local farmers max. 2 days before you receive your box. As we work with 0% food waste and order directly from the local farms, it is important that you order your box before midnight on Sundays. You will have it delivered on Wednesday freshly harvested and newly packed!
Whether you are on an active holiday, always on the move or you just want to relax
and enjoy nature at a slower pace, then authentic and delicious food is still an
important ingredient in your experience. But you are also on holiday…. and it’s lovely when things are a bit easier than normal.
So in the Summer Box, you get lots of fresh seasonal produce and a guide with suggestions for delicious summer dishes that you can easily prepare.

We do it for a greener world
Mille Lerche Kristensen is the woman behind Thykassen. She is 27 years old and lives in Klitmøller.
"I want to bring together and expand local produce farmers in Thy and Mors. I believe that everyone should have the opportunity to use sustainable and local produce.
My goal is to put local produce and small farms in focus so that we can develop a plan for a greener future for Thy and Mors - and the world.
